Your X10 utah Director

Chris Bocklet

  • X10 Utah is located at the Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, UT.

The center of Utah gives Wasatch Academy access to the gateway of outdoor adventuring. With five national parks, the greatest snow on earth, and its natural beauty, Utah is a prime location for athletes looking to do more than at a traditional sports camp.

Salt Lake City has a great international airport that is easy to access from all over the US and is only 1.5 hours from camp.

  • Indoor lacrosse & activities will take place in the 30,000 square foot Recreational Center. Its convertible floor not only offers a full lacrosse field but three volleyball courts, an indoor soccer field, three basketball courts, and an all-encompassing regulation track.

Our field lacrosse will be taken place at the heart of campus at the Quadrangle as well as Hamlet Field. These impeccable collegiate-sized fields are neatly cut and lined making for a premier playing surface.

Campers will also be able to enjoy our daily structured swimming session at Mt. Pleasant Aquatic Center on campus.

We will be using the Tigers Den a full-sized theater for our evening activities including our team skits, dance competitions, a talent show and to present our All-X10 Leadership awards.

With residence dorms available for bunking at Alice Dorm campers can enjoy a close tight-knit experience and sleep easy with the safety of being door to door with our qualified staff.

Any medical needs will be taken place at the Wellness Center.

Loftin Lewis Student Center is a full-service top-of-the-line buffet-style cafeteria where all campers will enjoy their meals & after can enjoy playing pool, air hockey, and ping pong.

A perfect environment and in a safe and friendly location Wasatch Academy makes for the ideal camper setting for X10 Utah Lacrosse

  • X10 has an athletic trainer from a major university on-site at all times.

As we will be utilizing the Wellness Center where there is medical staff on campus and Mount Pleasant’s Sanpete Valley Hospital is 4 minutes down the road.

  • X10 Utah is a co-ed camp limited to a total of 150 campers, with campers entering 5th through 10th grades.

  • This is a camp for athletes of all abilities who are passionate about lacrosse and who are looking to spend time working to elevate their game.

  • Counselors receive special training on keeping campers engaged and having fun at all times.

If campers are taking the bus they are sought out and made sure to have a bus mate from their cabin to get to know on the way up. When campers arrive on the first day counselors spend time playing getting to know you games and establishing cabin expectations.

The Bocklets' and counselors have plenty of experience with first-time campers and know just the right amount of special attention needed in these situations.

  • Yes! With an emphasis on lacrosse development, athletes spend the majority of the day on the field playing hard, having fun, and developing a stronger, better, smarter game.

Our drills and teaching techniques offer a cutting-edge approach to training, with a specific focus on breaking down all concepts of position and team play for the developing athlete.

  • Campers interested in separate goal-keeping sessions should indicate so on the camp application.

Goalkeepers are on a different training track than field players. Some of their instruction will overlap with the field players. They will train together with the field players to develop necessary skills and field awareness, but also receive specialized instruction in goal-keeping techniques and tactics.

Goaltending training will consist of angle play, approach to the ball, communication, clearing, and leadership skills.
